Teej Festival
Teej is a Hindu festival that celebrates the arrival of the monsoon season and the union of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Primarily observed in North India, it involves rituals, fasting, dancing, and singing, with a focus on prayers for a husband's well-being and marital bliss. The festival is also known as the festival of swings and is characterized by women adorning themselves with henna, colorful bangles, and traditional clothing.
